I am trying my best to calm myself down but having a little trouble there. A week ago I reinstalled L4.2 Beta 7 and now it can't find a license to a resource I know I HAVE.

I have the sermon viewer lisence with all my other lisences but the program can't find it so I can't use or see it anymore i just get ushered to a web page so i can buy a new one. I was unsure of which log file to send so I sent most of them.

    Hi Wesley.

It sounds as though you are trying to use the Sermon File addin.

This is not currently available in Logos 4 - as per http://www.logos.com/4/missingfeatures

Have I misunderstood what you are trying to do?

Have you tried the command (Update resources) Update Resources Performs an intensive and time consuming – though generally unnecessary – check against your licenses, the books on your computer and the server to ensure that you have everything.

    Graham,

I don't and can't use the sermon file addin yet I still use L3.0 to put additional sermon files into Libronixm, however I was until last week able to see my files on L4 just like another book. And that is what I am missing.

    Blair,

Good answer but i already tried that one last week and five minutes ago I tried again but still no good. thanks for trying though!

    Wesley, Peace to you!

A month or two back I updated one of my sermons in L3.  Then -- on the command line -- I put in:

    scan C:\Documents and Settings\?????????????\My Documents\Libronix DLS\SermonFile

    I might have put in scan:C:\Documents and Settings\Pastor Mel\My Documents\Libronix DLS\SermonFile

                 Don't remember for sure ....

Next time I started L4 my update was there for me.

I notice this is a "beta" post.               My sermon was also then "updated" in my L4 library when I checked the "update" feature.

That's what I did as I remember it.   Don't think I did anything else, but it was a while ago.

    *smile*

    Blessings

I think that is what Richard Deruiter tol me to do last year and it worked then I just can't figure out what to put in the command box for sure since I have Windows 7 64 bit. I wish I could just browse for it and find it myself! [:)]

Okay I finally did it! (But it probably wasn't the right way) I found out that  C:\Program Files (x86)\Libronix DLS\Resources didn't have the Logosusersermons.lxblls in it so

I went to Documents\Libronix Resources and found the Logosusersermons file, I copied it then

pasted it into C:\Program Files (x86)\Libronix DLS\Resources then

Opened Logos 4.2 beta 7, then went to the command box typed scan C:\Program Files (x86)\Libronix DLS\Resources then

i closed and restarted Logos 4.2 the index box started and in a moment I had my Sermons again!

Now I am just happy that everything still works! [:)]

It's best to avoid scanning your Libronix resources folder as it may pick up resources you didn't want ie. use

    scan C:\Users\{username}\Documents\Libronix Resources

to pick up the latest version of your sermon file (*.lbxlls).
