From Logos:

I sent my email at 7:21 a.m. Friday morning from the Mountain time zone and still haven't heard anything.
Dear LOGOS;
When this sale clears up, if you please, could you give us some numbers?
total emails sent in:
Total accepted offers:
Number of different items requested
smallest % and largest % Offered (other then zero):
Number of items sold:
total sales $$:
I've been a Logos user for almost 11 years........... still haven't heard anything from my Friday afternoon request.
Excuse me, almost 12 years.
I wonder if there was anything above 75%.
Anyway...one of my requests only had 2 bucks discounted....
When you called them to let them know you still hadn't heard a reply, what did they say?
I haven't called them, I sent my email twice just to make sure. They requested that we email not call.

Logos has every right IMHO to keep the sales #'s private. (Not that I'm not curious :-) )
Pardon my differing opinion, but given the activity of the user group, as soon as Logos posts this data, we have threads on:
1. Logos should make the special more compelling - too few offers were accepted
2. More offers would have been accepted if Logos had better payment plans
3. <Resource x> should have had a higher discount
4. That's not so many emails, x sales people should have processed all the requests much more quickly than they did
5. Such a high percentage of accepted offers proves people want to buy but the normal prices are too high
6. Such a low percentage of accepted offers proves Logos has too many resources for sale and the market is saturated
7. What will Logos do with all the money they realized from this sale? I think they should invest it in ______________.
you get the idea....IMHO this is too much information that really doesn't help customers at all, and only opens Logos up to more unproductive firestorms.

Too bad they don't have a "like" button on the forums to click as Facebook does!
I'm sorry to hear that some of you didn't get a response. I wish I had an answer for you... It took about 48 hours for me to hear back from them. I responded to the e-mail to purchase two out of the three items, but haven't heard back from them (that was yesterday afternoon). I am sure Logos will make good on it, if by chance they didn't get your e-mail or it somehow got overlooked. With the mass e-mails that they got, I am suprised they handled it as well as they did.
I've been a Logos user for almost 11 years........... still haven't heard anything from my Friday afternoon request. You might make 12 years before you get your offers. Not to worry, though. Dan said if you are in before the deadline, your request.will be processedI haven't called them, I sent my email twice just to make sure. They requested that we email not call.
Twice? Uh Oh. The instructions said "send One email." That wouldn't disqualify you, would it? (Just teasing you Shawn, just teasing.)
That's kinda' like strikin' the rock instead of speakin' to it.
I'm sure that request was for the happy path scenario where they replied in the order and timeframe that they'd expect. Your experience is clearly an exception. I'd certainly have called by now.

I think Logos has better things to do than to tally up those things. What good would it do to anyone know those numbers. I think they're totally irrelevant. I'm sorry but your request doesn't make sense. 12 Days of Logos is coming up and x-mas too, they're gonna be too busy to worry about giving a report on those things. Anyway, just one man's opinion.
It seems to me that the simplest explanation for the waiting would be if you e-mailed a particular sales person, and that particular sales person happened to be off all weekend.
Yeah. But Moses did have to strike it once per God's command.
Verily, verily, I say unto you: From many past experiences I can attest, Logos will take care of Shawn. I might be a little jealous if they offer him 97% off his three requests.
I'm still waiting for my offers as well, email submitted on Friday at 22:52 GMT. I'm guessing something will emerge eventually...
Mine went to junk mail, so you might want to double check there. I have Yahoo Plus mail so I'm used to using Outlook for mail mail. Yahoo put it in junk before it even got to me though, so I didn't find it till I went to mail.yahoo.com and checked my junk mail there.
Thanks for the reply Phil. That was the first place I checked. Definitely not there - unfortunately [:(]
Unfortunately for me also it is not in my junk mail. I will call eventually. Thought I'd give them plenty of time. I'm not the only one as is evident on this thread. At least I'm not alone!
I emailed at 10:26am PST on Black Friday but still haven't heard anything.
Tuesday... still waiting... maybe the discount will be huge! [:D]

I'm almost wishing I had not received an offer - I would have preferred a huge offer rather than what I actually received.
Looks like no offer, today... 5:15pm, PST.
I'm sure something went wrong. Send a copy of your original email to Dan@logos.com and he'll make sure it is taken care of. Same advise for any who haven't heard.
I will Mark. I hope it helps.
Just checked my email and got a note from a salesman at Logos. He offered his help! I think I might see some progress now!
Send a copy of your original email to Dan@logos.com and he'll make sure it is taken care of.
Thanks, Mark! Already done yesterday... just checked & got a response from Dan 30 minutes ago. I'm confident, too, they'll make me an offer... hopefully it'll be one I can't refuse.
Either way, thanks, Logos!
hopefully it'll be one I can't refuse.
Wow... Dan sent it to someone & I heard from Santiago within 45 minutes!
Unfortunately, though they were reasonable offers, I still had to pass...
Has anyone else still not heard back from sales@logos.com? It's been close to six full days since I sent in my BF submission. I did hear from Santiago last night. (He said he saw my post in this thread.) I replied back to him. Then . . . nothing. I also re-sent my submission to sales@logos.com (last night) and to dan@logos.com (this morning). Still . . . nothing.
Just heard from Dan. So, hopefully, something will happen soon.
To wrap it up, I did hear from a sales rep. The discounts were decent, but I only accepted one of them (and it happened to be the smallest discount). I'm fine with that. Thanks, Dan. Thanks, Logos.
Well, I FINALLY heard the results of my offers!
and they were not that great. I will wait for 12 days of Logos now.
Whew! It's finally over after 6 DAYS!
I was completely thrilled by the offer I accepted on the Anchor/Yale Bible dictionary -- almost 30% off -- until on my Logos 4 homepage today I saw that Logos currently has a 25% off sale going on the same title. Cyber Monday, therefore, saved me ten bucks. Satisfied? Yes. Thrilled? No longer.

I am becoming more thrilled as the days go by with my one offer of Baker Hermeneutics Collection. It was a real discount off the regular Logos sale price. But the $10 savings offered on the New Testament Studies Bundle (64 vols.) ($1200) was lamentable. I am still thankful for the fun and the savings. One offer was really all I should be buying at the moment.
I just hope the 12 Days of Logos offers a final sale on all offers at the end of the run. I just hate having to decide to buy the Day 1 offer not knowing if it will rule out the affordability of an even more desirable Day 12 offer.
btw: Did I mention the Baker Hermeneutics Collection is a GooD one? [:P]
Yes! Finally found someone who owns this resource Handbook for Bible Study it's included in your Baker's Hermeneutics Collection. Matthew, could you please give me a review of this book when you get done reading it? Or can you send me a sample chapter along with the table of contents. I've heard a lot of good things, but I don't know if it's worth buying another "Inductive Bible Study" book. I own Morris Proctor's volume for Logos 4 and I'd like to know if this book by Osbourne would be helpful or redundant. Thanks!
I thought it was fun, and worth it. Got a terrific discount on the good, but dated, Bible Speaks Today series with Stott, et al. Bought it. Modest saving on a Blomberg book on the parables, and a pre-pub price on ESV notes. Passed on that, only cause I am penny-pinching and already own the hard copy.
Wondered: Did anybody try getting a discount on Hermeneia? I never thought of trying that one, which is already discounted . . . but ?
I just hope the 12 Days of Logos
Didn't a Swedish chap tell us it is 20 days? And my wish list for it still starts with PBB/Sermon builder-Illustrator/Lesson Builder/Handouts for Day 1. (okay I've enlarged my scope a bit.[:D]
Didn't a Swedish chap tell us it is 20 days?
Last I checked I was a woman. [;)]
And how about making it even better? Before the 20 days of Christmas, there are the 8 days of Chanukka... [:D]
Or can you send me a sample chapter along with the table of contents.
Here is the Table of Contents for Handbook for Bible Study (included in Baker Hermeneutics Collection)
PART ONE Bible Study Methods Chapter 1 Introduction
Chapter 2 Basic Methods
Chapter 3 Advanced Methods
Chapter 4 More Advanced Methods
PART TWO Bible Study Tools Chapter 5 Basic Tools
Chapter 6 Tools for Students
Chapter 7 Tools for Pastors and Teachers
Chapter 8 ConclusionOsborne, G. R., & Woodward, S. B. (1979). Handbook for Bible study (5). Grand Rapids, MI: Baker Book House.
I will give you a sample; a "teaser" to coax you into buying it. [:-*] Any particular section look intriguing? I really am excited about the titles in this collection. I will also try to read it quickly and give you my cursory summation. I have my daughter's wedding next week so I may be a little busy at times this week.
Thanks Matthew,
Chapter 4 is a chapter I'd be interested in reading. So if you're able to post it here fine, if not you can e-mail it to me to my new e-mail address: argentinamissions@yahoo.com
Thanks!
