This error is typically related to being low on system resources. How long has it been since you last restarted your system, and how many other programs are running?
Does Logos 4 consistently crash when you start it up? If you reboot your computer, do the crashes stop?
index.idx = 2.46 GB (2,646,857,455 bytes)
the previous beta version had no problems regarding the program crashing
My computer was started fresh, ran the library, I have also noticed that it is taking longer than the previous beta version
I have had a problem with main page when I enter a passage example John 1-6
the programme would shut down, I've also click on the icon on the toolbar this also closed the program
I went back to a previous version with no problems and it was very fast,
I let the program update to the latest beta version than the problem started again as described above,
I have the previous beta version backed up on a backup drive, I uninstalled the program
then copy back all the files from the backup
do you want me to go back to the previous version and test it to see if I can make it crash

I just tried it again and program crashed I've taken a snapshot of the resource performance window please see image
this is the first time this happened with this latest beta version, never had any crashes before

I've reinstalled to the stable version 4.2 SR-2 {fresh installation)
no problems ,with searching, cannot reproduce the crash in this version
I'm going to update to the latest beta version to see if I can reproduce the crash

after updating I restarted the computer I entered John 1-7 in the enter passage or topic box on the main page
this caused a crash, the searching is very slow they'll like chalk and cheese between the stable release and the latest beta version
