Add a Note to highlights

I am not sure how long Logos has been doing this because I haven't used this functionality in a while, but when I select part of the Bible text and click "Add a Note to . . . ", it highlights the selected text in addition to the link box in front of the selected text.

I am pretty sure this did not do this in the past. I have a bunch of notes I created this way but they only have link boxes in front of them and the text is not highlighted.

Please help.

This is by design and has been this way as far back as i can remember.

When highlighting text & adding a note, L4 Only adds the note to that specific resource. Please see the wiki articles on this

Thanks! That jogged my memory. After selecting the text, you have to make sure "Reference" and not "Selection" is chosen before clicking "add a note to . . . "
