Logos 3 to 4

I'm thinking about upgrading from version 3 to the new version 4 Scholar package. I have two questions:

1. Is it cheaper for me to use my academic pricing (yes, I'm a grad student) or by purchasing via the upgrade discount.

2. When monies become more available, I'm planning to purchase a new laptop... can I transfer logo to a new laptop?

To answer to your first question it would be best to contact Logos Academic Sales directly. But typically, you can get a much better deal through academic sales.

The answer to your second question is Yes. In fact, according to the EULA, you can have Logos4 on as many devices as you want, as long as you are the only user (exceptions made for minor use by spouse/children).

James, I imagine that the folks at Academic pricing would assist you with making a decision. You can call sales and ask.

Logos can of course be transferred to a new computer. There are a couple of ways to do this to save time that forum MVP Dave Hooten added to the wiki here: http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers
