Can't find OT quotes and allusions
I have a single frustration, which leads to two questions: I can't seem to figure out how to find OT quotes and allusions in the NT.
1. To get the book OT Quotes and Allusions in the NT, it looks like I have to buy one of the newer packages. I have tons of books, but no recent package. Why are there books that are not purchasable?
2. What happened to the lists of quotes and allusions that appears in the back of Nestle-Aland? Can one access them on the digital version?
3. Can Logos publish Archer/Chirigno's volume, or, is there a more recent resource?

You can also kludge together a list by using a basic search of a Bible with good footnotes. Just figure out how that Bible indicates a quote (or an allusion for that matter) and search for it in the Footnotes.
EDIT: searching for "A Quotation from <Gen-Malachi>" produced slightly fewer hits (probably because there are some quotations from extra-biblical lit cited. However, this search took much longer.

Here are a couple of interesting threads where people have come up with ways of using visual filters in Logos to show OT quotes in the NT:

You do need to have a good source for a list of all of them first, though.
Kevin, have you finished your project mentioned in the first of those threads? It sounds incredible and I'm hoping to do it for myself too, sometime. Maybe by the time I get around to it, though, Logos will have implemented a way for you to share all your labors with the rest of us. That's what I'm hoping for. [:)]

Quotations are finished. I haven't gotten up the gumption to try to be exhaustive with allusions just because there's so much debate about what constitutes an allusion.

I converted this search to a visual filter in the NET Bible and used the "on fire" highlight. Now the OT quote reference number really stands out.

Thanks for all your thoughts, although in the absence of the books which I cannot purchase, the solutions seem no more rapid than just eyeballing the NA text.
I did just find the index "Loci citati vel allegati" from Nestle-Aland 27th here, as a pdf file. It's in Russian, but the headings (Genesis, etc.) are in English so it looks pretty readable. Great tool: www.rspp.su/pravoslavie/bible/neste_aland.pdf.

Thanks! It's great to finally have that in digital form.

It's been suggested. You can give it a thumbs up at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/12619/98197.aspx#98197.

You can create a passage list from a Bible Search in NA27 on "OT Quotation" rather than "All bible Text" (select from the drop down list). The search term could be a particular word eg. παρθένος or the wildcard * to find all occurrences (this will take a long time!). The OT passage is not listed, though.

Here is a link to an online chart. I don't know if it will help with what you are wanting to do since it doesn't have links to Logos.

With some obvious limitations:
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
Thanks, although apparently some or all of these books are not sold separately - the two you marked, for example.

Thanks! The list is pretty spare, it has direct quotations only (and even then it seems to be missing some). Thanks anyway.

Thanks, Dave. I have it running, although it seems to be awfully slow.
