Often, while browsing the Commentaries Section of the Passage (& My Passage) Guide, I find myself wanting a context menu via right click. Here are some of the things I've wanted access to via that context menu:
- Prioritize resource. When I find a gem, I'd like to prioritize it higher immediately, rather than having to go back to the Library button, find the resource, & THEN right click. By the time I'm finished whatever I'm doing, I've already forgotten that I wanted to go back & prioritize the resource.
- Open the Resource in a Floating Window. Usually, my layouts are already defined & I'm just browsing for info at this point. Since I don't want the resource to change my layout, I'd like a context menu option to open the resource in a floating window that I can then close later.
- Open the "Information" about the resource. There are times I've wanted to know more about the resource before picking it. Once again, it's back to the Library window, check, then come back & see if I can remember what I was doing... if I in fact I do take time to go back to the library; usually I don't.
As you can see, I LIKE the context menu in the Library's main window. I'd just like to use it in the Commentaries section of the Passage (or My Passage) Guide, too.
I suspect it'd come in pretty handy in EVERY section of the PG that accesses Logos resources, but I know some sections of the PG link to external resources, & we wouldn't want the same context menu there (Sermons.com & Powerpoints.com, e.g.).
So.... could we have the Library Context Menu in the guides, for every place the guides serve up a list of Logos resources?
Thanks for listening!
