Logos 4 won't sign me in after installing last update

I don't know why but when I installed the last update this morning, now Logos won't sign me in! I've even tried restarting my computer, but it still won't! This is VERY aggravating! I need my bible library and I need to be able to use it with everything working properly! Please tell me what I can do to get signed in now.

Have you tried telling it to let you work offline? Have you tried turning off your firewall or checking to make certain that it is set to allow Logos?

My firewall is fine, it's set to always allow it;. As far as working off line, I'll do it if I absolutely have to, as it's better then nothing but I don't want to. I need to work on line.

Well, I suppose the next step is to Enable Logging and try to have Logos log in again and the upload those logs, perhaps they'll contain a hint as to what's wrong.

Forgive me if I'm being dense but is it possible that something is going on with your Internet connection? Can you try other websites and see if they connect ok? If there is nothing wrong with your connection to Logos could you try going to the Logos website and click on the "Bible" link in the upper left hand corner next to "Logos.com" and see if you can log in on the online Logos application (Biblia.com). Look at the upper right hand corner and click on the "Sign In" option. Enter your user-id (e-mail) and password in the window that drops down. If you can do that then maybe your password has somehow been corrupted on your local machine and you can re-enter it. That happened to me once (...though I'm still not sure how. I choose to believe gremlins are the answer....).

Again, please accept my apology if you've already checked these things. Hope this helps.

No, it's not my internet connection, that's fine. I'm here for one thing, and for another I'm logged in to my messenger, to skype and my email, my message board and a number of other programs... everything except logos works just fine.

This will hopefully give us some idea of what the problem is. It's also possible that there's a problem with your internet connection that would not affect everything else, but that's unlikely.

Oh now I understand. Thank you Kevin! I'll make sure I save these instructions then. I'm sorry I didn't reply right away but I've been ill all day so am just seeing it. However, just before coming to check this thread, I tried once again to sign in and it did it this time although it took it quite awhile, so for the moment anyway the problem is over. Hopefully it won't happen again, but at least if it does I'll know how to get those logs you're talking about. Thank you!
