Martyn Lloyd Jones Exposition of Ephesians Set

Could someone who has in Logos Martyn Lloyd-Jones' Exposition of Ephesians do me a favor?

Often times, evangelistic messages illustrate trusting in Jesus to sitting on a chair. When I had a hard copy of the set, I remember that MLJ was critical of this illustration, but I can't remember why. Could someone search the term CHAIR and provide the appropriate context?

Years ago I sold my hard copy of the set with all good intentions of buying the Logos version. But then, I ended spending the loot on some other Logos product.

Here's the context, from volume 2, chapter 2, (p. 258):

"There are those who do not hesitate to teach that this whole matter of approaching God, and of prayer to God, is something which is supremely simple and easy. According to them there is no need of any teaching at all, but you can go immediately into the presence of God as you are. They say, Are you in trouble? Are you in difficulties with regard to your future? Do you need guidance? and so on. Well, they say, it is all perfectly simple. All you need to do is to sit in a chair and relax and begin to listen to God; it is as simple as that; nothing more is necessary. God is there waiting to speak to you, and all you have to do is to down tools, as it were, and listen to Him. You have immediate contact with God, you get directly into the presence of God, and nothing more is necessary. Such is their belief and indeed it is a very common teaching. It is the sort of thing we all tend to assume and to take for granted. But if the teaching of the apostle in this particular verse is right, then that is not only wrong, it is dangerously wrong, it is tragically wrong."

Interesting. That wasn't how I remembered what he criticized, but I did believe the thought I had in mind came from chapter 2.

It's interesting how sometimes what we remember from what we've read in the past is colored by what headspace we were in when we originally read it. We'll interpret it based on what our own needs and thoughts are at the time. Now that you've changed these years later, if you read the same passage again, you might see something entirely different in it and not even recognize the thoughts you'd had before. That has happened to me several times. Sometimes I'll go back and look at my old underlinings and comments in the margin from years ago and say to myself "What was I thinking?!"
