where are downlaoded resources (books) stored?

I have lost all of my downloaded resources books on my iphone and new ipad 2. I called tech support and they did not know and sent me to the forum. I told tech support that this is a programming question and they said sometimes programers are on the forum.

If i backup the logos app (.ipa ext.) are the books stored in that file? I need to back it up as sometimes i may loose my books and then when i backup to itunes it replaces the file on the computer with the one on my ipad that has lost the books.

Not a programmer, just a Logos user with Many Volunteer Posts (MVP).

Wonder if signed out of Logos application or changed Logos.com account password ?

Seem to remember Logos resources are not backed up to iTunes.

It is for this reason that I only download what I absolutely know I will need offline. A few bibles, the book I am currently reading and any commentary of a book of the Bible I'm preaching through. Right now I have about ten books downloaded.
