The Library can be accessed:
1. Clicking on the Library icon
2. Alt + L - as a drop down.
3. Ctrl + L - opens in a floating window
4. Right click on the Library icon offers these options
To open a book you can click on its title or on the book cover. If you want to "select" the book, you need to click somewhere else. Your first few times books may seem to open inadvertently - watch where you are clicking
Hovering over an element will provide you with more information about the resource:
If you want all the information available, click on the "i" button:
In the Information pane, you can:
1. Change the title which appears in your library (click on the little pencil)
2. Change the abbreviated title which appears in your library
3. Give the book a star rating
4. Add as many tags as you like
A right click on the column names at the top allows you to chose what information you see. You can easily rearrange these columns by dragging them to a different position:
While searching your library is as easy as typing a word in the navigation box, it's sometimes quicker to limit your search using "author:" "title:" "mytag:" "series:" "rating:" (eg. rating:>=2); "type:" (eg. type:commentary)
You can easily add tags or ratings to (or clear the same from) multiple books at the same time by hitting the "i" button while multiple books are selected.
I searched my library for "title:semeia", hit ctrl+A to select all the books, hit the "i" button, and was presented with a pane in which I could add the tag "journal" to these resources.
