Stick diagram of Greek 2John
Attached is a "stick" diagram patterned off the Reed/Kellogg sentence diagramming system and modified by yours truly. The diagram is built using L3 but easily converts to L4.
Surprisingly, I found this little letter to require more brain power than James and even more than some of Paul's stuff. I didn't think that would be the case going into it because the English translations make the book appear incredibly simple.

Peace to you, Terry!
My! You were up early this morning! *smile*
Of course I continue to be extremely grateful to you for your sharings with us. I've said before that you have enhanced my life with your sharings. For example, as I've dug deeply into studying Scripture -- also perusing and pondering your sentence diagrams -- I've had some really tremendous insights and personal strengthenings.
Now I know that comes from the Holy Spirit, not Terry Cook! *smile* However, Terry Cook's thorough and meticulous scholarship has opened many windows and doors for the "wind" of the Holy Spirit to enter the old edifice that is me!
Terry, your TOV personal version is pretty much "right on," pretty much as I might have translated it myself.
Thanks again! 2 John downloaded perfectly. Logos 4 imported it perfectly.
Philippians 4: 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand..........
Thanks again Terry for sharing your work!!
Charley,
You always have the nicest things to say; they humble me. The Holy Spirit is working in a couple of different ways. He is working in me as I build the diagrams and he works in you as you study them! Then there's the Logos folks whom the Spirit used to provide these tools. To God be ALL the glory!
He is the "one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all (Eph 4:6). "by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together (Col 1:16-17).

Logos Forums Brothers and Sisters ................... Peace and Joy!
Only a small number of folks, it seems, are checking out Terry's sentence diagrams. Perhaps the majority are not interested in sentence diagramming -- which is fine -- Logos 4 has so much that one can hardly do it all! *smile*
However, for those of you who are a bit curious, I thought it might be good if I put up a screen shot of one little portion of one of the many that Terry has shared over the years, including on the wonderful, but now defunct, Logos Newsgroups.
Hope this is helpful! *smile*

Milton,
I'm new here and am still learning how to do things using Logos. I just went to the Tutorial videos and the "Drawing Mode" one told me how to draw, but I wanted to see how I can open this file. Do you open it up through Logos (and if so, where?) or once you download the document, can you open it up on its own?
Also, is there a thread where each of these diagrams are saved, because these would be great resource tools for our own exegesis.
Thank you,
Rich
I have to go out for a couple of hours, Rich!
Perhaps someone else on the Forums can point you in the right direction. At first the acquiring of Terry's sharings seems a bit daunting; however, once done properly the remainder come fairly easy.
Sorry I have to go! Kindest personal greeting and Blessings.
P.S. Just keep posting until you get the help you need! *smile*
