Has anyone on the Beta successfully downloaded the "Morris Jastrow Collection"? I recieved an email Friday that it was ready. But it isn't being found to download.
Mine downloaded the day it was released, and I can access it via biblia.com as well. BUT I'M NOT ON THE BETA.
Mine downloaded too. I'm on 4.2b (4.22.5.1104), so I guess there's an issue with the Beta release.
Has anyone on the Beta successfully downloaded the "Morris Jastrow Collection"?
I think that would be me 4.3b5. Downloaded on Friday.
OK. Maybe this is by design, or maybe it is a bug. But I found that I had 'Use Internet' turned off and 'Automatic Updates' set to on. But even when typing 'update now' and 'update resources' multiple times and even after rebooting, it didn't work until I turned "use internet" back on. Yet Friday I had numerous other updates that downloaded on their own. As well as the Beta 5 update earlier in the week. The only other thing I did before it started working was to check my iPad and check Biblia.com, both of which did show the resources available.

I wonder if 'use internet' is necessary for my installation to know there was a change in the license, before the 'update resources' and 'update now' commands would know to download the new files? This would explain why B5 worked, Friday's updated resources worked, yet the NEW resources did not. Just guessing...
Most assuredly. It has to use the internet to update the licenses, which is only done at program startup. If it still updated the licenses when "use internet" was set to Off, then I would consider that a bug. It would be nice if the "update resources" command also updated the licenses, but it doesn't.
