L4 & Opening up commentary

I've been thruogh the download and indexing process on my machine, however when I search my library for the newly released Opening up commentary I can only see 9 volumes! Looking at the comparison available here it seems that there should be 30 volumes. Logos appears to have donwloaded everything but I'm still down 21 volumes - can anyone else verify this or spot what I may be doing wrong?

I have all 30, but I've been in the beta program and probably got these earlier.

If you see the blue Logos icon in your system tray, then it's
either indexing or downloading. If it's still indexing, you may have
them already, but they aren't yet indexed, and so don't show up in your
Library. If not, here's what you have to do:

Put your left hand under your right thigh, twist your neck over your left shoulder, and kiss the back of your neck while saying: "Logos is my friend" 12 times, without blinking.

Well, you could try that, but just waiting for everything to download will work just as well. This could take several tries, as Logos looks, compares and fetches for you. There's little you can do to speed this up.

Thanks Richard, the indexer and updater is no longer running, I'll keep an eye on it and see whether they turn up over the next few hours. It makes me wonder what else is missing!

I notice also that the Opening Up Commentaries don't have the Series property set - just in case anyone is listening!

You can also try typing "Update Now" in the Command bar and then wait a while - most days 5 minutes - today 30?? - and see if the updater icon reappears. When you command that it has to check your licenses etc. on the Logos server before it will download them.

Closing and re-opening the program will also force an update check.

I am also down 21 volumes...

It may well be that the other 21 have not yet been published - this is still a Prepub (http://www.logos.com/products/prepub/details/3978). If that is the case, we will receive the resources upon publication

I just ran another update and new resources were found and indexed however I still have 9 Opening up Commentaries. I'll try again later...

Just FYI, "Update Now" checks incremental upgrades - what has changed on the Logos Server since the last update. It's for this reason that I suggested "Update Resources" which scans your resource folder and compares its contents against your license.

Thanks Damian, that makes sense. I'm running Update resources - although there is no indication of when it has started or when it has finished.

There is no indication that it is running. It may or may not find anything. It takes quite a while - as it compares date stamps and sizes of every file with the list of your resources.

BTW. It didn't find anything for me.

Try opening collections and type in the "start with" box title:Opening Up and see how many you come up with. This way you can name the collection as well and if any new ones turn up they will automatically add themselves to your Opening Up collection.

We had a server error this morning that was preventing the download of the 21 volumes you're missing. If you've started the program since noon (PST) today, Logos 4 should have detected the missing volumes and started the download. Please let us know if you still don't have them.

I haven't had extensive exposure to it yet, but I did find a number of helpful insights in the Malachi volume when I was helping with sermon research for my Pastor several months ago. It quickly became one of my "go to" commentaries for Malachi each week (keep in mind that I have a relatively small library though...I'm currently on the Bible Study base package with a few extra resources that I've purchased individually.)
