Beta 9 updated no problem (6/22). But at 8am on 6/23, resource updates were added & indexing started.
Up to now, my practice has been to put the computer to sleep whenever I needed to--since the laptop goes to work with me--even if indexing hadn't completed. Through each iteration up to now, this practice has served just fine.
Not so, this time. Indexing failed to resume when I got to work. Instead, it acted like it thought it had completed.
Worse, when I tried to start L4, it crashed. (Log files all attached, below.) Since this crash is new behavior, I figured I should report it.
Now to the thanks... thanks to the many beta posts (especially MVPs, & Dave in particular) on what to do when similar stuff happens, I 1st tried reindexing to see if that'd allow me to start up. It did, 1st try. So I'm reporting the crash, but I'm back in business. THANKS!
