Narrowing a search

I wanted to search my library for the term "legalism" for a sermon I am doing later in the summer. However, when I type in legalism in the search box, it returns not only legalism, but also legal, legally, etc. I have tried putting it in quotes, but doesn't help. Is there a way to narrow a search like this? Just adding "legal" grossly inflates the resources that I am looking at and is only marginally related to what I am looking for.

Sounds as though you want to uncheck "Match All Word Forms" - please see http://wiki.logos.com/Detailed_Search_Help#Matching_Case_or_All_Word_Forms for details

This is an easy fix. Click the panel menu (hourglass) and deselect "Match all word forms"

The explanation: Logos searches word variants by default in order to cast the broadest net and get you the most likely results, even when an author might use a different form of the word you are searching. Of course they realize not every search needs this, hence the choice.

Also note the capitalization option.
