In the upcoming feature connected to display settings etc, include a way to pick the default search view, by resource type.

Not sure if I understand your suggestion correctly, but if you're signed into the app and have a network connection, I believe it already uses your preferred resources you have set in Logos 4.
There is a planned feature to choose the default bible from within the app.
