BUG(S): PB links

This is the entire contents of the source document and the built PB which:

  • first link doesn't work
  • auto-linking of scripture doesn't work
  • tab formatting fails
  • other links do work [:)]

All links in the source document made via the copy URL in the resource icon. The links that work are My Passage Guide, My Exegetical Guide, Sermon Guide (my separate guide), Explorer, and Cited By. The links that don't work are to the Catholic Lectionary and Scripture (no link built). By "span 2 lines" I mean that the link was inserted including "First Sunday of Advent Year B".

The link works from the Word document, opening to the correct location in the Index of Readings, however, when the link is clicked in the PB, it opens the Catholic Lectionary to the Title Page. If I change the hyperlink in the document to point to the First Sunday of Advent for 2011-2012 (Year B), the link in the book works. The difference between these two sections of the Lectionary is that the articles in the Index of Readings do not have an active reference, and those in the Year sections have the date as active reference.

Since the link works from a Word document, it would appear that it could work in a Logos 4 resource, too. Since it's not working, though,  I will report that to development.

As far as that link spanning two lines, could you have selected 'Year B' along with 'First Sunday of Advent' when you were adding the URL to the hyperlink?  I wasn't able to reproduce that problem if I only selected the four words of 'First Sunday of Advent', not including any spaces after 'Advent', before adding the link.

I was able to reproduce these three things, although, my '1 Corinthians' reference was tabbed past the other tabs instead of in front, as yours was. I will look into why the auto detection of the passages is not working and get back to you on that.

Yes, I wanted it to span 2 lines - I mentioned it because I thought that might be part of the problem.

Thanks for clarifying, although upon re-reading the notation, it does read more like info than bug report.  [:)]

Note that the sermon is about the only thing one would want to link to a particular secular calendar year. The Bible research and exegesis should apply to any year. Sounds to me as if this is working backwards [H]

The hyperlink to these articles will be auto-detected in a future beta.
