Interesting forum search tool for Win 7.

I found this on another forum and modified it to work on the Logos forums. It's an OSDX file. Windows search extension.

Just take the attached file; rename the extension from "txt" to "osdx" without the quotes of course.

Then double click the file. It will ask you if you want to make it a windows extension. then just type your search term in the bar on the upper right and you're good to go!

Note that it ONLY works with Windows 7.4118.logos forum search.txt

Here's something that works for any version of Windows. Go to Google and click on the advanced search. Enter your search and at the bottom where it has "Search within a site or domain" enter http://community.logos.com/forums/.

Essentially I had built the same tool last year for Firefox. Ironically I don't feel like searching for the post. :-)

I've solved it easily by typing searchterm site:community.logos.com in the google box which is on almost every browser.

There is an excellent add-on for Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/insite-search/ It gives you another magnifying glass to the Google (or other) search line on the right side of the browser. When you click it, it searches the active opened site, works perfect with Google searching Logos web pages (or forums).
