In the 2-3 most recent betas I could compile PBs but not open them. In beta 12 the build failed (but without crashing):

The log is old because there seems to be no logging feature in beta 12
Try downloading and re-running the EnableLogging.js script to re-enable permanent logging, or open Logos 4 by holding down the Ctrl key to bring up the Sign In window and then click Sign in to temporarily enable logging for that session.
I tried rebuilding a few of the books you had had trouble with in a previous beta and they compiled successfully. Once logging is enabled, perhaps you could send the current source document along with logs. Thanks.

We'll review your log, thank you. If you want to disable logging, you can use this script. I tested the temporary logging process in a Beta 13 build on my Windows system and it worked--a new Logos4.log file was generated. If you decide to disable permanent logging at some point and want to try the temporary process again, let us know how it works.
