PB Expiration

The Beta cycle release notes stated that:

Books compiled in the beta cycle will expire, at the latest, when 4.3 is shipped to the stable channel due to further changes that will be made.

Noticed on my setup that PBB's created in beta cycle still exist in Library..?? Is this a bug, or have we not got round to PB book expiriing?

After installing the last Beta the PBBs created before had to be recompiled. If I remember right I read the comment of Logos somewhere on the forums that the last Beta Personal Books files have already been compiled in the final format.

It's not a bug. We weren't sure at the time the release note was written whether the Personal Books tool would have a cost associated with it once it was released. Since it was decided to make it available at no charge as part of the 4.3 release, the 'beta license' did not expire and your books built during the beta period are still available.

I know there has been other threads on the deletion of PB books from the library can you provide any info on this, as I now have a coupld of PB books that aren't much use in my library but not on my PB list, (I clicked delete from the PB tool during the beta phase) - I know I can hid the resources but would rather delete them completely.

Hiding a resource should delete it completely - in that it should remove it from your library and your hard disk.

I know some people seem to be having issues with this at the moment.
