I'm in - but somehow with 2 years of high school Spanish 50 years ago I don't think I ought to use it for close exegesis.[:D]

Buy why do I want a Catholic Study Bible in Spanish?
Well I can list a few:
1. Another translation of "La Palabra de Dios".
2. Many spanish speaking people (protestants and catholics) will be able to compare how the greek, hebrew and latin are translated into Spanish. ¿Hopefuly a Interliner someday?
3. It can be used to compare the spanish versions such as RV 1960, LBLA and Dios Habla Hoy side by side.
4. It contains study notes with a Roman Catholic slant. Presenting the Catholic churches view on doctrinal issues.
5. It will allow non Catholics to understand what the Catholics of Latin America are being taught in the study notes.

Well, I don't see a Japanese interlienar translation on the horizon. My spouse will make one more run into Tokyo to see what can be dug up.
But why not, maybe Spanish may be easier than Japanese!
And we have hispanic believers at our church. When it's time to do Bible reading, they use english.

If they are not included I feel it would be more then a little deceptive on Logos part. [:O]

Doesn't Logos usually make the study notes into a separate resource from the translation. They don't mention it being two resources. That's why I was wondering about their inclusion. Perhaps they are embedding the notes in the Bible resource as footnotes instead of making them separate.

Ok, you got me! [:^)] Been busy looking n the web for all the free PDF of the version. [8-|]
Some have notes, most dont have notes. Web based ones have notes, the down loaded PDF are text only.[:^)]
I still feel that if it does not come with the introductions, notes, margin notes, commentaries etc. The very things that make the version famous and well known. Then Logos should say TEXT ONLY in many places. [:(]
I agree with you that the notes usally sell seperate (ESV, LBLA etc). [^o)]
Put when buying the ESV they dont put in the description of the ESV notes as a selling point unless it is the discounted purchase for both the esv and the esv notes.
You got me, the pre pub price is still better then the post pub price. [:D]
I will still push it, it is still worth it even if it is only the text.[:D] [Y]

Normally 'commentary' means definitely included. I've not seen Logos 'fudge' on that issue in their copy.
The recently released Talmud by Neusner has 'commentary' in the title. The commentary is embedded in the resource itself.

Just a comment re: Catholic expectations. I don't think it is easy to get an NAB without the (translation) notes. You will find these notes are the same in all the study Bibles made from the NAB. The study notes are publication specific. Therefore, I was rather surprised when the NAB lacked the standard notes. Based on the NAB I won't expect the notes in the JB - despite the fact I would expect them in a print edition/

Actually I was wrong - and unlike my Mother who says "I'm not perfect. Once I thought I had made a mistake but I found I was wrong" my mistake is not oxymoronic. I had check Genesis 1 in the NAB and not seen the note I expected. However, I did find that the NAB has the notes in 1 Cor 13. So Logos did preserve the standard notes and should do so in the NJB
