How much storage required for Silver package offline?

Hello! The next thing after I upgraded my Logos software to 4 is... I want to read the books offline on an iPad2. I have Silver package. Can anybody tell me how much space it will take to have all the resources stored on the iPad2? I also have plan to use iPad in preaching/Bible study where there is no internet.

Your help is very much appreciated as I have yet to purchase an iPad. Smile

Leo, I recently upgraded from Silver (with a bunch of added resources) to Platinum (with even more added resources). Although EVERY resource isn't yet available on your iPhone/iPad/Android device, here is the size of my Platinum resource directory. The difference between Silver and Platinum was about an additional 500 resources but don't read too much into that, because one never knows the size of a resource.... I dunno if my additional 500'ish resources were all small, medium, or large resources, or some median can be found. In any case, a Platinum library with a pile of additional resources is under 9GB.

Sorry Leo, I don't have that information for you. I do want to let you know that, although you can download the resources one by one, the mobile app is designed for online viewing "in the cloud." Without internet, the app is not much more than a reader. Downloading the resources one at a time is time consuming and tedious.

Unless someone can give you a more definitive answer, you could always check your L4 installation to see how big it is. Your iPad resources, of course, would be smaller in size.

Looking at http://www.logos.com/mac/support/systemrequirements Scholar's Silver on an iPad 2 would be less than 6.60 GB.

Thanks all for the info, especially alabama24 for letting me know I have to download the resources one by one... Now I think 16GB will be sufficient for me. Still the cross reference ability of Logos will still make it an excellent standalone Bible Study tool (better than my Kindle 3, I hope)

And the dream of having a portable bilingual Bible with the versions I desire will finally come true!!
