BUG: Sync error in 4.5 beta 2

I am still not able to sync my secondary computer even with the last 4.5 beta 2 release. Both computers are on 4.5 Beta 2. I had first noticed the problem in one of the 4.3 SR versions, and reported it then, but got no response other than syncing would be fixed in 4.5 beta. But is is not. It just keeps trying to sync until after a few minutes i get the sync error notification. Once that happens, I cannot even try syncing any more without turning off and on logos. When I click on the yellow sync error icon, nothing happens. When I type "sych now" in the command box, nothing happens. I have to exit Logos and restart to try syching again, but always get the same results - it errors out after a few minutes. This computer is running XP. My primary computer (which syncs fine) is running Windows 7.

Any ideas? Is there some way to delete all prior sync info on my secondary computer and start from scratch?

My understanding is that the 4.5 Beta will not sync with a stable release because of the changes made in 4.5. According to this thread http://community.logos.com/forums/t/36947.aspx it will be that way until the Beta cylce is complete.

Both computers are running 4.5 Beta 2. And my android mobile devices are turned off.

Thanks for clarifying that. Unfortunately with both machines running Beta Tech support probably will not be able to help you. The good news is that your error log appears to indicate that it is a problem on their end, as was a similar problem I had after downloading the Beta. They were able to fix that problem the next day.

I would suggest changing the title of this thread to include "BUG:" at the beginning of it. This will help alert the Logos folks who monitor the beta forum and maybe they can isolate the problem. Kepp in mind they will probably not see it until Monday

It was most unwise to put two computers on beta. You can uninstall from Control Panel, remove the \Logos4 folder and install the stable release from scratch (though it would be possible to use quick Method 3 with saved resources). You should get Highlights and Notes as they were previously in v4.3.

What does wisdom have to do with beta testing? Enjoying 4.5 b2 on both my home and office computer!

In the past we were told that both computers need to both be running beta, or they wont sync and things would get messed!! So I have always done just that.. made sure that both my computers were running identical versions. Now all of a sudden it is "most unwise". The truth is that this problem existed with the "stable release" 4.3, and I was told that 4.5 beta would solve the problem.
