Any ideas as to when this might released?

The 1984 NT Reverse Interlinear was released several months ago, and you should already have access to it if you have the right licences. But as for the 2011 RI, and the 1984 OT - I don't know, I'm sorry.
hmmm. I have the platinum package, so I assume that comes with it. how do I get it?
If you have Logos 4 Platinum, the 1984 NIV NT Reverse Interlinear is included. If you only have L3 Platinum and didn't do a crossgrade or an upgrade to L4, then you won't have it. But if you have a very recently purchased Platinum you'll have the 2011 NIV, not the 1984 one.
To access it, just navigate to an NT section of the 1984 NIV (the blue, not the yellow cover), and the Display dropdown should show up near to the reference box. You can select which lines you want to see from there.
I have logos 4, but it is not there; what do I do?
Are you using the standard or Anglicised NIV 84?
and to pick up on one of Mark's points, when did you purchase your Platinum package?
Was this a new purchase or an upgrade?
Graham
standard, I assume. how do I know?
Josh - If you purchased a base package BEFORE this year, you should have the NIV84 NT RI. In the screen shot below, look for the red circle. The button that is circled turns the RI on & off. NOTE: If you purchased the NIV84 separately, you will NOT have the RI.
That is the standard, seems strange that its not working. I'm assuming that the RI works for you in other translations that support the feature.
strange indeed. Any ideas what I can do to fix it? note the ESV has the display button, the NIV does not.
Hi Josh
If you click on the Information button for your NIV do you see information about the Reverse Interlinear and do you show a RI file in the Support Info area (top and bottom of the screenshot below respectively)?
Try a New Testament passage--the NIV does not yet have the interlinear in the Old Testament.
The one critical piece of information needed to explain this is this: When did you buy Platinum?
If you bought it within the last year or so, you will not have the 1984 NIV reverse interlinear, though you will have the 2011 NIV reverse interlinear when it comes out. If you bought the NIV(84) reverse interlinear before, then you should have the right to it.
Explanation: Zondervan directed Logos (sometime last year) to no longer sell the NIV(84) reverse interlinear (please direct protests to Zondervan). The NIV(2011) NIV will have the reverse interlinear, but Logos will fulfill its commitment to finish the NIV(84) reverse interlinear first (the 2011 rev.int. will then be based on the 84 text as they are so similar).
i don't see anything about a reverse interlinear
this explains it. I bought my first logos package about last May, have steadily upgraded to platinum.
so, there is no way for me to get the 84 RI? if you sneak it to me I won't tell!
my original question: any idea s to when the 2011 NIV RI will release? when I started buying last may it said soon.

Nope. Unless Zondervan changes their minds, Logos is not legally allowed to sell it any more. Ever. Period. Write Zondervan and ask them to change their policy on this (I have) - you can connect with them via their web site (I don't remember exactly how - maybe someone else remembers).
If I sent you the 84RI it wouldn't do you any good. The way Logos has their licensing structured, unless their servers show you have a right to it, it won't unlock on your system.
But you wouldn't want to steal a Bible anyway. Right? [;)]
Logos seems to use the word "soon" the way the Bible sometimes does.
I bought my first logos package about last May
By "last May," you mean May, 2011? If so, the RI is a no go. There is nothing you can do to acquire it.
any ideas to when the 2011 NIV RI will release?
I would expect the NIV84 OT RI to ship first, but that is a guess.
Your final sentence suggests that by 'last may' you mean May 2011. If this is the case, then you aren't eligible for the 1984 NIV Reverse Interlinear (even if you own the NIV itself). The definitive reason for that is explained here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/38530/289095.aspx#289095

Observation: when reason posted, negotiations with Zondervan were not yet done. Now NIV is available for mobile use, indicating negotiation progress. Wonder about contacting Logos customer service to inquire about NIV 84 reverse interlinear for New Testament ? => http://www.logos.com/about/contact

L4 has been out for 2 yrs now.
The complete Reverse Interlinears that were listed as part of the base pkgs are yet to be delivered.
That is an awfully long wait with no date yet to be announced.
