It would be good to edit your title to begin with BUG. This is ugly.

Wonder if formatting changes by closing Notes, then opening ?
Wonder about Logos 4 Mac version ? Also curious about Mac OS X version and Mac model ?
Using a screenshot to illustrate Notes issue in Logos 4 Mac would be helpful. Wiki has Using the Forums => Adding a picture to a Post

Curious about Logos 4 Mac version ?
If using stable Logos 4.3 SR-8 version, other option is contacting Logos Mac Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact (could email with reference to this thread).
Logos 4.5 Beta for Mac has a similar Notes formatting issue => 4.5 for Mac beta - bullets and indents in notes that is affected by closing and opening.
By the way, Logos 4.5 combines highlighting and notes; every highlight is a note.
Apologies: have no idea estimate for stable Logos 4.5 release.

Charles could you describe a little more about what you were doing when the notes were lost? Were you by chance using logos on two different computers at the same time? Could you describe what platform you were using at the time you lost the notes and the Logos software version?
Btw welcome to the forums!

Paul, thanks for respond. I was continued my notes form my previous study of a passage, and after long hours of study and write the notes, I named the notes in layouts, synced the notes and closed logos. When I start logos again, I only see my first notes and lost the last notes that I wrote. I only use logos at one computer and I use Logos for Mac when I lost the notes. And this is Logos version I am using now: 4.3 SR-8 (4.30.0.1624). Looking forward to hear from you and thank you so much

Hi Charles
This is an unusual report! Please will you (if the note is not confidential) post a screen shot of the note and the resource to which it was attached open at the point that the note should be marked.

Hi Charles
Try using +shift+4 to get a screen shot.
For going to references I float a window off and set 'send hyperlinks here'; that stops me messing up my standard layout every time I want to check a reference.

When Layouts are saved (or updated), the current location for every resource is included in the layout. After opening layout, wonder about going to Ephesians in Bible(s), then Right Click on layout name, followed by Update to current snapshot. Next time layout is opened, Bible(s) should open to Ephesians.
Wiki has => screenshot page.

Using Command + Shift + 4 creates a screen shot on your desktop.
Personally use Shift + Control + Command + 3 (or 4) to copy screen image (or selected portion) to clipboard, then switch to Preview where Command + N pastes clipboard image, followed by saving image in PNG format for forum posting. Apple's Preview utility has ability to annotate images (arrows, text, ...)
