Celebration of Discipline?

Is there any chance that Richard Foster's book Celebration of Discipline will be available in Logos format anytime soon? I would prefer to have this resource in my Logos library. The publisher is Harper Colins. I don't know if that makes a difference.

This would be great! I used this book in my Spiritual Formation class in college.

You might want to revive this thread.

Hmm. . .I don't know how I missed that there was already a thread about this. Glad to see others have been lobbying for the same thing. However, since it has been over a year I suppose the chances of seeing these resources soon are slim.

Why so? It's not like Logos doesn't want these resources available to us, rather, it is a matter of working out agreements with author's & publishers. Maybe we will wake up in the morning to discover a years worth of negotiations has paid off! (Don't hold your breath). [:)]

I'm not. [:(] I know these issues are usually not Logos' fault. They would love to sell me even more resources. I just wish there was some way of knowing if things are in progress on certain materials before purchasing them in other formats. Though that's probably about as likely as seeing highlighting available on my iPad tomorrow. [;)]

Logos has done a couple of other books with HarperCollins before (this and this) so that improves the likelihood that they'd worth together with that publisher again. Those two are reference works, which are probably in a different division than Celebration of Discipline would be published by, but it's worth continuing to ask for. The more people who want it, the higher priority they place on negotiating with the publisher for it.

One option would to put Celebration of Discipline on Vyrso instead of Logos.
It makes sense - there are not a huge number of Scripture citations in it, but it is a classic and one that's still widely recommended. I've already got it in Kindle, but did check first to see if it was available on Logos. The smaller number of citations presumably also make it less work to make it available in Vyrso/Logos.
