L4 Mac Visual Filter Crash

I am running L4 on an iMac with Snow Leopard and 16gb RAM. I am not have issues with any other program. I really do no think this is a computer problem.

I am having an issue with a Visual filter crashing L4. Let's say I have a visual filter find the word "Lord" and underline it, I do not have any issues. If I use the criteria "lemma:kurious" L4 will crash when I apply the VF to NASB or ESV. It is consistent. This happened 4 or 5 times in a row. I rebooted my Mac and it happened again.

How can I capture a log of what is going on when L4 crashes when I apply the VF?

Wonder about enabling diagnostic logging, then launch Logos 4 Mac, repeat visual filter crash, compressing log files, followed by reply with zip file upload ?

Option: download and use an applescipt application 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display your logging setting, then change to enable logging.

If you are using stable Logos 4.3 SR-8 version, your other option is contacting Logos Mac Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact

You are correct this does work when you update your program to 4.5. I had 4.3 SR8 and it did not work properly. It crashed on me today at the same point. After I upgraded to 4.5 it works. Logos must have just released that update because part of what I did yesterday was make sure my program was up to date.

You are using some fields in the search criteria I have never used. Is there a doc that lists all the options? You are using (field bible, contet.... and some others.

You are using (field bible, contet.... and some others.

The field bible was automatically created by Logos 4.5 by starting with a Morph Search for lemma:κύριος then changing Search to Bible ([field bible, content] <lemma = lbs/el/κύριος>) so can search for Greek lemma in interlinear bibles. Wiki => Searching for Bible Verses and other References segment includes abbreviation explanation.

My "Logos Greek Morphology - Names" visual filter can use Morph (using lemma:) OR Bible (using field bible ...) search:

Looking at Bible search for Greek lemma, noticed owner and master translations, so modified my visual filter to search for Greek lemma κύριος that is translated as Lord (capitalization of Lord is optional). Screen capture shows visual filter using Bible search with highlighting results in ESV and LDGNT.
