Bug: note fonts behaving badly

Question. My default font for notes (in program settings) is Helvetica. But when they sync from my iPad, they show up as Alber New. Strange. And when I click "add new note" from my desktop, the font is Athelas Logos for the new note. Any idea how I can fix it?

As I recall, there is no 'default note font' in Program Settings any more. It is now set in each separate note file itself.

I have noticed this same behaviour.

I have further noticed that when adding notes from the iPad, the font sizes are out of sync with the default. I have fiddled around, but have been unable to rectify this behaviour (the inconsistencies regarding font selection can be fixed from the desktop on a note by note basis, but this is less than ideal.

There is also another bizarre issue where the mobile app reproduces the entirety of the selected text in the field entitled 'Note title'. This then wraps into the note box where the volume of text presumably exceeds the preset character limit.

I have reported the latter issue as a bug (here). You may want to preface the title of this thread with 'Bug' so that it catches the eye of the developers.

I don't have my PC running right now, but on the latest Mac build, there certainly is a note default font setting...

Looking at Logos 4.5a Beta 2 on Mac and PC, noticed Program Settings has Default Notes Font; albeit with different font lists on Mac and PC (personally use Default for both Mac and PC).

That's a good thought. I wonder what my settings are on my PC. I'll fire it up now and check. I doubt my PC has Helvetica...maybe that's causing some of the confusion. Thanks.

Default notes font on PC is also set for Helvetica.

Also, looking at the notes on my PC: they are in Helvetica like they're supposed to be.

You're right and I was wrong. It was the 'default note size' they moved. [:$]
