I see on the wiki page that Logos 4 Mac can use OS X Spelling and Grammar checking in Notes. How can I get this to work or do this? Thanks!

No more than in any other program. Mac's spell-checker uses British or American or whatever English you have set in your system preferences.
And why do you say "if ... were"? They are underlined if you've chosen to have them so.

Everyone knows that the correct spelling is "savior." The Brits simply haven't learned to write English yet. [:D]

Whilst my mis- spellings are underlined in all programs other that Logos - in Notes in Logos they are not.
Should I want to turn it on in Notes (which because they are of my own composition are always spelt correctly) how would I go about it?
In fact it is a blessing that in most of the resources they are not for the reasons I outlined above.
In my testing, I find that spell check does not underline errors while typing, but clicking "Find Next" will detect each error in turn

Looks like I have to turn this feature on for each and every note. Is there a way to turn it on globally for all notes in Logos?
I never knew that that feature could be turned on & off within an application. I wonder if Logos has this turned off on purpose?
From what I understand, spell check is off by default system-wide. That's how Apple has designed it. See the end of this article: http://www.macworld.com/article/151504/2010/05/setupanewmac.html. You have to turn it on in individual applications (Textedit, Safari, etc.) whenever you do a completely clean install of Mac OS (and you don't migrate your User Account settings). So Logos is apparently just following Apple's lead here.
OK - I read your linked article and see that you are right... however... how do you turn it on and keep it on? It doesn't seem to be "sticky."

I know I have it turned off on purpose. With notes text in Swedish, English, Greek, Hebrew, and possibly some French and/or Italian, it would be a whole lot more trouble than help...
(I'm talking Logos now; in other programs I have it on, but there I usually stick to one language at a time.)

I did find an article which suggests that Logos would have to enable this for Lion:

I have the same issue with Logos, but not with other applications -- it seems to be a bug to me.
With other apps, like Textedit, once you turn it on it stays on, and it is global, for every document (see Joe Miller's comment above).
This is what I'd like to see. It would be great to have the ability to turn this on globally for Logos and not have to turn it on each time I write a note. The same would be true for a global setting to turn it off for those who prefer not to use it.

I never did. I just never turned it on. Or, actually, I probably turned it on when I first found it, just to check that it really did work in Logos (since people had complained about there being no spell-check), and then I immediately turned it off again, for the above reasons. If so, I would just have checked and unchecked as in Integ's screenshot.
(If there are bugs, I wouldn't know, since I've never really used it.)
You're right: one does have to turn it on for every single separate note, which makes it pretty unusable for anything but very large notes. I can't believe this behaviour is intentional. Someone who cares more than I do might want to write a bug report or suggestion or something.

FWIW - I think it should be something that can be turned on & off.
For me 6.6 beta 4 on Mac is working differently than 6.5 on Windows - under the same account, I brought up a Note on Windows that I Knew had a proper name which would be considered a misspelling, and on Windows 6.5 it is underlined in red and when I right click the word I get choices in the context menu.
On Mac 6.6 beta 4, I Get no red underline, and no choices when I right click the word.
So I think this is a beta 4 bug?
I just updated my Windows Verbum from 6.5 to 6.6 beta 4, and the spell checking works fine - same Note as on my Mac, I Get the red underline and the context menu choices for correction. So this is a 6.6 beta 4 Mac only bug.
