Prepare to say farewell to the oldest item on prepub

Now, how about helping number 8 (soon 7) on that list get into production, the PBI New Testament Studies Collection (11 vols.). I can't understand why it's taking so long, when there are so many interesting titles in there. The OT one has been out a long time now, and doesn't look half as interesting to me. Go check it out.

Then we have the weird case of number 4, the Synopsis of the Greek Sources for the Hasmonean Period, which I'm pretty sure was "under development" for a year or so, only to then suddenly change to "gathering interest", with only about 50% covered. I don't think that's supposed to happen... So now we need twice as many buyers as there currently are. If you have any interest in the history of Israel, the Books of Maccabees, intertestamental literature, Josephus, or the process between history and written account of that history, you ought to take a look.

And you know that how? Because I don't find that much of interest in one particular collection? [:^)]

Actually, I'm probably more interested in OT than NT right now. It would be a great deal more true to say that, regardless of testament, my interest is in theology rather than linguistics and ossuaries. And the NT one happens to look at a number of theological themes that definitely interest me (some of them actually precisely because they're more OT than NT): the Temple, the transfiguration of Moses at Sinai, the transfiguration of Jesus at Mt Tabor, the relationship between the two Covenants, the relationship between early Christianity and late temple/early rabbinic Judaism, the divine sonship of Christians, "one flesh", "koinonia"...

I purchased the OT collection and have been in on this one for some time. You may think that the offerings in the OT collection are less interesting, but I don't.
