LIbronix IS on my desktop and does have many books there but somehow they are not available in Logos.
Any ideas?
Good morning Keith,
Welcome to the forums. You will hopefully find your answers here.....I know I have found quite a few.
Just a comment, Libronix is version 3.0 of Logos software. Is this truly what you have? Do you have v4? If it is truly a v4 this is the right place. It might be as simple as a little more time for the software to see that you have books that are unlocked on your account and they will download immediately. You might use the command update now and it will force it to look now....
If this is a v3 product.....there are the forums for that that you might want to push the question out there.
Thank you.
I had Logos 3 and upgraded to 4. I have other Libronix books (a set of Luther's writings) that do show up in the resources on my work PC but nothing shows up in the resources of the new install of Logos 4 that I just finished on my home PC. It seems like there must be a problem with synchronization. There is nothing, not even a bible. I have have Libronix on my home PC and those files are still there.
I was under the impression that all the resources from my Logos 4 on my work PC would also be transferred in some synchronization to my home PC when I installed Logos 4. This is not the case. It seems that I have just the basic program. When I click on the synchronization arrows in the top right hand corner, Logos says everything is synchronized and should be fine.
Also, I have error messages in the Logos Log file in "My Documents" folder with many entries of the following:
Time: 2012-02-04 14:16:16 -06:00 (2012-02-04T20:16:16Z)Error writing request content.System.Net.WebException: The remote name could not be resolved: 'services.logos.com' at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetRequestStream(TransportContext& context) at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetRequestStream() at Libronix.Utility.Net.WebServiceRequest.WriteRequestContentSync(HttpWebRequest webRequest, IWorkState state)

If 'just' really means just, you need to give it time. L4 doesn't use the L3 resources you already have on your computer. It downloads them anew and then indexes them. The download can take several hours, depending on how much you own and how fast a connection you have, and the indexing will almost certainly take several hours. You should have an icon somewhere showing progress (I'm on Mac, so I can't say exactly where). If you are sure nothing is going on, try restarting Logos (not necessarily a good idea during indexing; as it will probably make it start all over from the beginning).

The resources are downloaded (not sync'd) based on your licence, so if you logged in with the same Logos account the resources should be the same on both computers. But you see no resources in Library? If this is still the case you should contact Logos Customer Support.

Welcome [:D]
Wonder if can sync licenses in Libronix 3 ?
Also wonder if a firewall is preventing Logos 4 from communicating with Logos servers.
If can login, then Logos 4 transfers resources licenses, including list of resource files, then unlocked Libronix 3 files are scanned and copied into your Logos 4 folder, followed by download of newer Logos 4 resource files.
Thankful that Libronix 3.0g and Logos 4 can peacefully coexist on same computer (with appropriate resource files being duplicated).
Keep Smiling [:)]
Your logos.com account (that you use to sign into logos.com and Logos 4) is not linked to a Libronix account (that contains your licenses from LDLS3). As a result, Logos 4 doesn't know which Libronix books you own.
Please call customer service and ask them to link your accounts.
It is fixed. I actually had a duplicate account. Things worked when I corrected it.
Thank you
