Are the Pentecostal/Charismatic practicing seminary graduates with at least an M.Div using Logos 4.
Having studied under the late J Rodman Williams and John Rea at CBN University and while there having the founders of Logos visit the campus, I am really rather surprised that there are so few books included in the Logos Library that are of the Full Gospel/Charismatic viewpoint. With such a major worldwide movement such as Pentecostal/Full Gospel having far more than 400 million adherents, I would think there would be more of a presence in the offerings of Logos...thus the subject of this post

How many accredited Pentecostal seminaries are there in the US? The Association of Theological Schools only lists three (with total enrollment of about 600) and has none listed in Canada. Finding a Pentecostal seminary graduate with an M.Div probably isn't the easiest thing.

yeah, i wondered how much difference it would make, even though generally the advice was probably correct (to post it elsewhere). I wonder what would happen if you contacted those seminaries that Joshua referenced to see if they used Logos . . . not sure how far you want to take this. Maybe become Gordon Fee's best friend. [:)]

You may have a better response if you drop the M.Div criteria. I am pentecostal, have an M.Min. and am working toward an M.Div.; I use Logos constantly. There may be others out there that have not reached the M.Div. level but are academically oriented.
Really depends what you are looking for I guess.

For that very reason most of us went to other evangelical seminaries, such as Dallas Theological. In my case I went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. I knew several others from my penetcostal denomination who also went there.

I don't know if I qualify, since I don't know that I understand your question, but I'm a seminary graduate who puts into practice a belief in all the spiritual gifts, believes in empowerment for ministry by the Holy Spirit as the only reliable way to do ministry, and more. I do not believe that the gift of tongues is the (only/primary) manifestation of an initial baptism in the Spirit, though I do believe in the value of that (and all the other gifts).
I have an M.Div. from Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI. I wouldn't describe that seminary as charismatic and certainly not pentecostal (by historical definitions of those movements). But our denomination (the Christian Reformed Church in North America - who founded and supervises that seminary) has stated quite clearly that all spiritual gifts are available for service in the church by believers today.
I use Logos 4.5a almost every day, have the Platinum package, and (if you hadn't noticed the star) participate in these forums regularly.
I have already posted about the availability of Pentecostal/Charismatic resources in Logos. If you have specific suggestions, I encourage you to submit them to Logos and/or to put them in the Suggestions forum. You may also want to contact the publisher of those resources and encourage them to enter into an agreement with Logos.

Simply as an fyi, there are more Charismatic seminaries graduate level school of theology than previously noted. Some of them are listed in different categories than Pentecostal since they are not affiliated with the traditional Pentecostal denominations and some have accreditation through different organizations such as TRACS.

That describes me also. I believe in all the gifts of the Spirit, as well. That includes the ones considered "Charismatic". I have a love for the Pentecostal tradition. My M.div degree is from Asbury Theological Seminary.
I am not quite sure how I am classified. It depends on how you define "Charismatic". I believe that it is the fruit of the Holy Spirit, not any particular gift that is the evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit. And I do not hold to the "Prosperity Gospel" teaching. (I use "Prosperity Gospel" for lack of a better term.) I would consider myself to be Charismatic / Evangelical / Wesleyan - but mostly Christian.

A 1990 graduate of The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary with an MDIV, I have used Logos since its inception. For many years pentecostals did not stress the value of higher education and consequently not many scholars writing books. This has changed and more and more pentecostal material is showing up in Logos, which will serve to attract more participation.

Other than Gordon Fee, whose works most of us would like to see better represented, are there other charismatic works you'd like to see & whose absence is particularly noteworthy?

Oh the joy of labels, I would describe myself as Pentecostal by denomination and Christian by adoption not in that order though, However, I would also recognise the influence of your three labels above plus others. I think the original poster is looking for comments from those who are in Pentecostal or Charismatic denominations rather than those who have a Pentecostal or Charismatic aspect to their faith but could be wrong.
