Invite a member bug?

I have tried twice to invite a person to join a group and that person does not show up under the section Membership Invites. Anyone know what is happening?

BTW: the person got one of the invites and asked to join a different group as she did not see the group listed I had invited her to join. The group is set as Closed with no followers ad no observers. Can that be the problem? If so, how would she be able to join when invited?

Anyway the issue is: why does her invite not appear in the group to which she was invited?

I have experienced the same behaviour. I tried inviting yesterday and the individual did not show up under Members. The other two invitees did appear. However, I tried again (with the failed third) a few hours ago and now the invite appears to have been recorded. My group is set at secret.

The first time the individual did not receive an invite. The occasion which resulted in the individual being added to the invite list appears to have generated a genuine invite.

I have my group set up and tried to invite several people, and only one of them took as I clicked the "add" button. What was wierd is that it was not the first or last e-mail address I typed in--it was somewhere in the middle...I thought that I would add a few and they would "send" when I hit the "finish" button up top[*-)]
