Searching

When searching a collection on a verse, say John 17:6, is it better to put in the search box <bible = john 17:6>, john 17:6, or "john 17:6", or does it matter and all those things will give you the same results? Thanks!

As you can see from the example below, all the options you suggest give different results

The first finds hits where the exact reference is found
The second finds hits where the quoted string is found
The third finds hits for references which include the reference given
