Syncing problems

I cannot get my Top Bibles or priortized devotionals to sync to my iPhone or iPad. I am a brand new user and and have all the most recent software and can't seem to see any connection between what I'm doing on my PC to my app devices. I have hit the sync on the top of the screen on the PC and have turned off and on my apps in the hopes that this would resolve the problem. Any help? thanks

Brian - First, welcome to the forums!

Logos experienced some growing pains last year. With an explosion of new users on the mobile platforms, the sync was getting log jammed. Logos has been in the process of reworking this, both on L4 (Mac & PC) and on the mobile apps. Internally they call this "Sync v.2". Reading plans & Highlights were among the first to migrate. It is my understanding that the prioritization of devotionals has not made its way to "Sync v.2" yet. Consequently, the app isn't working as intended (namely, that your top 3 prioritized devotionals would show up on the homepage).

As for your "Top Bible"… You can set your Preferred Bible through the following menu structure: "More" (bottom right button); "Settings"; "Preferred Bible."

Thanks for the reply. I guess it is waiting game to see when this will be resolved (hopefully soon). I purchased Logos primarily to use with my iPad/iPhone and PC connection. I've been a long time user of Bible Works and made the change because they don't seem to be heading in the direction of mobile app''s.

As for Top Bibles, I'm actually talking about the top five Bibles that will show up in in Text Comparison. I don't see any way to change them on my app devices except through what gets sync'ed from L4.

Indeed, that is supposed to sync, but is not yet migrated over to sync v2. It may not be exactly what you are looking for, but there are three categories to choose from in text compare (Top Bibles, Primary Bibles, English Bibles). The list seems random to me, but at least you can compare some various translations.
