How can I create a new format style of this feature that puts the verse on the same line as the reference, and such changes as that?
HI Bob
Have a look here (you need to scroll down a little)
http://wiki.logos.com/Copy_Bible_Verses
That did help me. Thank you very much.
Bob, if you come up with a style and you would like to share it, then just post the code and let us try it as well. Should it be liked amongst others than I think that it may be possible through the ‘suggestions’ area of the forum to become part of an update.
Thanks.
This is what I use:
%NoCharFormatting
%NoParFormatting
%NoFootnotes
%NoCitation
=Header

[FullPassageRef] ([Version]) —
=ForEachVerse
[VerseNum] [VerseText]
=Footer

------- Here is what it looks like[Except it appears that the red letter words did not copy to the forum]
Luke 5:36–39 (ESV) — 36 He also told them a parable: “No one tears a piece from a new garment and puts it on an old garment. If he does, he will tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old. 37 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed. 38 But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins. 39 And no one after drinking old wine desires new, for he says, ‘The old is good.’ ”
Thanks. Michael.
I will give it a whirl…I do not know why it won’t do the red color here…/?
maybe:
%RedLetter needs added under %NoParFormatting
Here is what I've come up with that I was looking for.
%NoRedLetter

[FullPassageRef] [Version]
 [VerseText]
Here is what it looks like:
Matthew 18:21–25 NLT Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?” “No, not seven times,” Jesus replied, “but seventy times seven! “Therefore, the Kingdom of Heaven can be compared to a king who decided to bring his accounts up to date with servants who had borrowed money from him. In the process, one of his debtors was brought in who owed him millions of dollars. He couldn’t pay, so his master ordered that he be sold—along with his wife, his children, and everything he owned—to pay the debt.
Seems to work for me.
John 3:16 (ESV) — 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 4:7 (ESV) — 7 A woman from Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink.”
