What's going to happen to PB's when they sync someday?

For those of us who have the same Personal Books on different computers, I was wondering what is going to happen to them when they finally sync across our computers in the future.

Will we just end up with multiple copies on each machine, and have to delete the unneeded ones?

As far as I can imagine It would hardly make sense to check different versions against each other in order to spare you from what would seem as a minor inconvenience. It would probably require a great deal of coding, and it would only be needed in the transition period.

So unless you hear differently form Logos, I would not create too many highlights/notes/bookmarks/etc. in your personal books just yet.

if we apply the same timetable as LOGOS did to SermonAddOn, we should put our PBs on hold for 3 years running. There has been no official communication as far as when PB sharing would be enabled, fate of the PB store, etc. It would be good to hear updates once in a while (quarterly basis, maybe). I understand about NOT releasing a firm launch date, but a note about progress being made and what is holding things up would be nice.

I posted a PROPOSAL for keeping Logos customers informed nearly 8 months ago with no response from Bob or the dev team (which is not to say that I, or anyone else, is OWED a response [:^)] ). The last broad-brushed update from Bob (that covers most development in general) was nearly a year ago, and you can see it HERE.

In summary, I concur that we'd see a more contented, patient, and less critical customer base with some periodic feedback on the status of promises (implied or explicit) for pending projects... At least *I* would be less frustrated. Thanks for letting me vent! [:#]
