Logos/Biblia/Vyrso for Android 1.0 Beta 2 Released
The Logos Android team is pleased to announce the 1.0 beta 2 versions of the Android apps.
Installing or updating to 1.0 Beta 2
If you have 1.0 Beta 1 installed and your update channel is configured to beta the new version should download automatically. Once downloaded you will get a system notification that a new version of the app is ready to install. Tapping on that notification will open the installer.
You can also immediately install or upgrade the app using the following links:

- Other bug fixes and crash reports

FYI:
In my case, using the beta update channel (as opposed to the links), I had to exit the app to run the downloaded update. Otherwise, I got a "parse error".

I changed the channel to beta but did not receive any notification for beta 2 despite closing and opening the app. I had use the download link instead.

On my HTC Desire phone, setting the Logos app channel to beta automatically triggered the download.

The auto-download worked for the Logos app but not the Vyrso one.

Yes, I have allow applications to be installed.

I had to uninstall Logos for the first 1.0 beta so I'm betting you have to do the same. I haven't tried yet but you might want to.

If you have previously installed Logos/Biblia/Vyrso from the Amazon store, you must first uninstall the older version(s) of Logos software before the newer versions can be installed from the Logos download sites. The Amazon store changes the signature of the application making an update incompatible. This isn't the case with the Google Play store (but that fact doesn't help Kindle Fire users like yourself).

DominicM - First off, thanks for the feedback.
Lowlight theme implies dark background on light text. In your case the text does not appear to be bright enough to contrast with the background. What type of Android device are you using? I have a Motorola Triumph (Android 2.2) and the text on the buttons appears brighter than in your screenshot.

I just pulled down all three and Biblia is the Spanish version for some reason. As much as I need to and would like to brush up on my Spanish, I'd prefer the English version. Is there a problem with the link or it is something on my device?

The Biblia app is in Spanish
For English you want either the Logos app or Vyrso.

Deleting app version 0.9.4 and installing the Beta worked great. Now I get a messaging telling me there is an update, but it is the 0.9.4
version.
Will I need to delete the old beta version to install the new beta version whenever it becomes available? If so that will limit the number of books I download for off line reading.

Probably because you are on the stable update channel. Go to About, scroll down if necessary, and change the Update Channel to beta (you'll have to change it back to stable when version 1 is officially released).

Does the beta version allow you to copy and paste or to highlight as you read? This is a feature that is greatly needed. I love using logos on pc but without the ability to highlight or copy, I actually prefer reading books via my kindle app so that I can highlight and take notes.

just bought a Kindle fire & downloaded the logos app. I'm assuming it's the lastest version. I don't see a reading plan listed. is this not available for the kindle? I am very computer illerate, so no clue how to know what version this is. I have logos 4 on my PC.

Linda, do you have a reading plan setup on your computer in Logos? If so it should show up on the apps home page.

Linda, the version of the Logos App currently available through the Amazon Appstore does not yet have support for reading plans.
Here are some options:
Install the Faithlife Study Bible (Beta) app on your Kindle Fire (this includes reading plan support and is available through the Amazon Appstore)
or
Side load the current Logos Beta on your Kindle Fire.
If you keep the current version of the Logos App (0.9.4) installed you should see a 1.0 update within a couple of weeks. This update will have support for reading plans.

I'm totally unfamiliar with all this, but I assume if I download the Faithlife Study Bible app.since it's a different app it will not be accessing my current reading plan in logos.(?)
Also, no clue about side loading. And since I just got my kindle where would I see the update if I waited for that?
