When I try to re-dock a pane Logos 4 crashes. This is repeatable.
You need to provide a crash log + steps to reproduce (incl. resource used) as I don't get a crash from docking one tab or all tabs in a floating window in Beta 2.
Dave,
Thanks for your reply. My problem happens when (and only when) the docking is done in the lower half of the screen, oddly enough. So when I have a Search pane open on the left, Bibles open in the top middle, and commentaries on the bottom middle and explorer open on the right--that's when it occurs. It doesn't seem to matter which resource, but obviously I haven't tested them all.
I'm not sure how to do a crash log and would appreciate any tips on that.
Ray
Hi, Ray see this thread in the wiki. http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
See crash log attached
Looking at crash text, noticed current stable Logos 4.5b SR-2 (4.52.0.2204) in use.
Since using stable Logos 4, can contact Logos Tech Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact
Caveat: crash text file lacks context of Logos4.log diagnostic file; wiki has => Diagnostic Logging
Please elaborate a bit how to repeat so Logos users and employees can try to replicate.
Apologies: using Logos 4.5c Beta 2, have floated and docked a resource several times without crashing. Hence, curious which resource(s) are being floated/docked ? a screenshot could help illustrate issue.

I can't reproduce in 4.5b SR-2 with panes as you describe; floating a tab from the lower middle and then docking it. It would be best to contact Logos Support as they can reproduce it on your system (you give them permission to logon to your computer).
One more piece of information I should have included: The attempt to dock the pane is from a saved layout so that may have something to do with it. I have been able to reproduce it on my Windows Vista laptop and my XP laptop.
I will do as you say and contact Support,
