Fascinating - do you notice that the links in the quotes are not the same as in the original post but are in the same format as the links that caused problems in the traditional bible study upload. Logos - are you watching? This is a BIG hint re: the root of the problem.
It goes in the Annotations folder.
Wow. Thanks!
Many thanks, 'tis greatly appreciated!
I have copied the file in the annotations folder, but when I go to open it in Libronix, the only one showing up is General notes. What am I doing wrong.
Great resource thanks Geroge. Got it figured out.
I've got the file downloaded & working in Logos. However, all of the links open up an "Unknown Resource" Logos window. Where can I download the specified resources. Thanks!
The Early Church Fathers (ECF) is a Logos product that can be purchased here:
http://www.logos.com/products/details/518
It is also included as part of the Scholar's Silver or Scholar's Gold packages.
George created the index because the ECF isn't indexed.

Thank you George so much. I discovered the index for myself only now and I found it to be extremely useful. Just one question: is there any particular reason to have it in the Notes format? Wouldn't pbb be better? Thanks.
Here is a Word 2007 document version of the file. Select all and paste into a Logos 4 notes file or break it into three sections as it was in the original. I didn't test all the links, but did change a few that didn't get converted during the L3 to L4 import.

grace and peace to you both george and brian,
i found your index.
i am pleased and grateful.

I assume this is only for L3 and not for L4 since there is no annotations folder in L4...correct?

Yes. See Brian Huddleston's post, which is 2 posts above yours, for info on how to get it into L4.
Thanks again, Brian and George! *smile*
It works perfectly in L4. A very rich resourse.
Peace to all!
A very rich resourse.
Yes it is. Thanks, I will get much more use out the early fathers now. Wow.
It works in L4 for me only if I use control + click. Is this normal or should I be able to simply click without holding down the control key?

That is normal. It's so you can edit the text normally without it linking when you don't want it to. Microsoft Word works the same way.
Thank you so much for making this index available. It is very much appreciated. It is now downloaded in L3 and L4 and will be of great benefit to me. Thank you for sharing it with us [:)]
Peace and joy in abundance
Sue
Thanks for the information. And yes, George, I want to add my thanks for making this available. I had it in L3 but did not realize I could have it in L4.

SO....does this count as a public domain work that is available for free on Logos??? [6]

I tried this on Mac, and first everything worked fine -- but then after five or ten minutes or so all the links were gone. [:'(] They still look like links, but they don't open anything. Anyone else had this problem? Anyone knows a solution?
Bump! Anyone has a solution to this, or must I start a new thread in the Mac forum?

One of these days I'll try to take some time to complete the job. Despite "all those links", there are yet more. I simply got tired of it and had other things to do. Keep watching (but not too soon).
Brilliant - always struggled to get round this resource very helpful
