To Whom It May Concern,
Upon upgrading to Logos4, I noticed by previous NOTES have disappeared. Are they retreivable?
Sidney W.
If you open v. 3 can you see them there? If so, then you are OK.
The notes feature in v. 4 does not import v. 3 notes yet. It is in the missing features list on the Logos site. Just search for it and you will see that it is not yet part of v. 4.
Thanks, I didn't even realize V.3 was still on my computer. So, after preserving my notes, can I delete V.3 without causing V.4 to malfunction?
I would wait a year before deleting v3- it will be at least that before v4 is fully functional.
Or at least wait till 4 does all that you want. Right now it does not do notes well nor will it import your old ones. Second, it is missing a few other features - my favorite missing features is diagramming. When they get the missing features back in and improve performance of things like notes and being able to open multple tabs without slowing down on my system, then I will kick the 3.0 habit.

L4 is an entirely different program. Not just an upgrade to L3. They can be run at the same time.
I'd leave L3 on your computer for a while.
Check out wiki.logos.com for more info and links. There are great videos on how to do things. There is a list of what is still missing in L4 that Logos will add and when. There are some well organized and helpful explanations of things and features.
