Logos app ussage

I have been using the Logos app for my iphone for about a month. With five hours of Bible stury a week using my iphone to lookuup verses, etc. I have accumulated almost 1 GB of usage. Is this reset every month or does it just accumulate? Is there a way to reset the usage or to minimize it? Thanks

Hi William - and welcome to the forums.

Have you tried downloading some of your most used resources to your iPhone? While this is an initial hit on usage, subsequent activity should be reduced (even though there are still times when the app will call out to the Internet - Logos servers - for certain things).

To download a resource, open its "information pane" (the "i" in a circle at the top right of the screen when you "press" on a resource" and press the Download button. You can also do this from the library window.

If you can, you will surely want to use wifi when available. Do you have wifi at your home and/or work? If so, you should make sure to download your needed resources when on wifi.

Welcome to the forums.

It might be worth using Safari on your iPhone to look up your service provider and the terms of your contract with them. Contracts are many and varied depending on the country you live in and the provider you are contracted with. However, by a long chalk, the most common arrangement is for the provider to give you a monthly allowance (which expires at the end of the month). If you go over the allowance you are not cut off but accumulate extra charges.
