4.6 Beta 3 won't run on windows 7 machine

I had troubles with the installer referencing Logos4.msi and saying that: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable." So I uninstalled with no success. I then used the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to completely remove my Logos4 installation and reinstalled it. It seemed to reinstall fine, but as soon as I attempt to run it, I get "Logos bible Software 4 has stopped working" In problem details:

I thought the installer was supposed to do that for me. I had to uninstall the prerequisites and then ran the installer. It appears that the prerequisites were installed as when I tried uninstalling again, this was the only thing listed in the windows uninstaller.

Is there any chance that this Beta 3 requires a particular Windows patch to be pre-installed? Because this is my work laptop and they have disabled windows update which hasn't run since September of 2011. (just in case that makes any difference).

...BTW, I had no problem running 4.6 Beta 2.

Ryan,
Would you happen to have the DigitalLibraryInstall.log file, which, if you have logging enabled, would be in your Documents\Logos Log Files folder, otherwise in your %TEMP%\Logos Log Files folder? That's the log file that Windows Installer writes when it installs the Logos4.msi. Any other log files in that folder might be helpful as well. Of course, if you installed again successfully, that file may have been overwritten.
We have some log files from another user who had the problem with Logos crashing on startup, though he didn't mention that Windows Installer had any problems with the Logos4.msi. If there's a connection, we'd like to check it out.
Thanks,
Bryan

I found recent updates of Logos4Crash and Logos4Error in Documents/Logos Log Files/ (see attached).

Ryan,
This looks like the same crash that is being discussed in this thread http://community.logos.com/forums/t/53192.aspx
I would suggest monitoring that one since Logos has been monitoring it and communicating via that thread
