I am looking to buy a new tablet and wonder if there is a difference in the logos apps for each device. If so which would you say runs better?
Android is "catching up". not sure of a better way to say that. recenlty including notes/highliting sync.
Personal opinion: both are too limiting. you have to be "online" for much of the functionality to work. you can read 9and I think search) locally downloaded resources, but you can't jsut download all your resources, youhave to select them individually. I currently have a couple android devices and the app works great. however, because of the way I work with L4, and not being able to be "online" all the time, I have given away my iPad and other android tablet devices, and procured an actual Windows 7 tablet PC (Asus Ep121) that is not only a fully functioning Windows PC (currently win7, will upgrade to win8 when it is released), it is a tablet PC for portability and ease of mobile use, and full L4 functionality.http://www.logos.com/mobile/ipad

Basic Search is an online only. Bible search allows you to search downloaded Bibles when you're offline.

On the iPad, you can swipe down when you're at the top of the library list, and a Download All button will appear. This allows you to download all the resources shown in the library window. It will download all the resources if you haven't filtered the list, or just the ones that match your filter. In this example, I'm about to download all of the UBS handbooks at once (56 resources).
Brent is right about the Android app playing catch-up, but it has gotten pretty close to the iPad in functionality from what I can tell from the forums. However, a new iPad release is about to hit the App Store, which has improvements to the interface.
Dave - First, welcome to the forums!

As has been stated, the iOS app is further along in development. I believe this will be true for a while. In terms of true tablet devices, there are more iPads sold than all others combined. You might want to wait until the iPhone 5 announcement next month. There are rumors that Apple will release an iPad mini. If so, it might change price points, or give you other options.
