How do I change the version on which the Word Study is built? My general preferred text is NRSV but often want to do a word study on the LXX or NAB .... I don't find how to change the version in either Help or the Videos.
Martha, it looks to me that when you start BWS from the Guides menu and write a word to do the Word Study, it uses your prioritized Bible #1.
However, when you are in some other Bible and do the BWS from the right click menu, it uses the Bible you are in. I tried it a while ago. My #1 Bible is ESV. So it uses ESV in the general menu BWS. But when I did the right click on the word in NASB, It used that Bible for my BWS.
With the Septuagint, when I do the context menu (right click menu) on a given word, I have to go to the Greek lemma option and than I can do the BWS. It gives me 2 Translations then. First is ESV (my prioritized Bible) and second is LXX).
Ah, yes, I thought I was being dense ... I do get the results it I open the LXX and launch from that ... I was trying to directly change the version without opening it. Thank you.
But when I did the right click on the word in NASB, It used that Bible for my BWS.
