Robert - Did you enable logging and restart Logos? Your logs are old and indicate that logging isn't enabled. Use THIS APPLICATION to turn on logging. NOTE: Make sure you turn logging on BEFORE you start Logos. The crash should then generate a new log.
Another option: Have you tried downloading the engine and just installing over the current installation? Here is that LINK.
If I remember correctly, you said that you have had problems during each update. This indicates to me that there is an issue with your computer/user account/installation. If this persists, it would be helpful to you to contact Logos. I have always found the customer service reps to be very helpful.
I have used the disk-image without the auto-update. I have kludged together a work-around which leads me to believe that the problem is one corrupted resource Nestle-Aland xxviii/w morph and textual sigla. The apparatus itself seems to work, but any attempt to open the book/text of Nestle-Aland xxviii causes a crash. Though at this point I can simply restart without any problem. I will not be able to call customer service, due to my work schedule, until Tuesday afternoon...ouch
