Grammatical Analysis

Hello everyone,

Which book that is available in Logos covers lexical and grammatical studies in the GNT? Books that are similar to the Linguistic Key to the Greek New Testament by Fritz Rienecker and Cleon Rogers. I do not believe that book is available through Logos and am curious about what book covers verse-by-verse lexical and grammatical studies. Thanks. Particularly those that are available in the Scholars Platinum edition.

Zerwick and Grosvenor, A Grammatical Analysis of the Greek NT, is probably the closest I know of in Logos format, but as NB said, not in Platinum. It is not as extensive as Linguistic and Exegetical Key from what I can see of the latter on line. Here's an excerpt from Matthew 2:

2   γεννηθέντος aor. ptc pass. γεννάω, gen. abs. after the birth of Jesus. Ἡρῴδης3 -δου Herod. μάγος Lat. magus, an oriental priest learned in the esoteric arts incl. astrology and the interpretation of dreams. ἀνα-τολή (< ἀνα-τέλλω rise) rising of the sun, stars; sg and pl. east, orient. παρ-ε-γένοντο aor2 παρα-γίνομαι come on the scene, arrive.
2λέγοντες ptc λέγω. ποῦ; where? τεχθείς aor. ptc pass. τίκτω bear, pass. be born. ἀστήρ6 ἀστέρος ὁ star. προσ-κυνῆσαι aor. inf. -κυνέω τινί kneel to, do obeisance to one; inf. of purpose (final) §282.
3   ἀκούσας aor. ptc ἀκούω. ἐ-ταράχθη aor. pass. ταράσσω lit. stir up; hence, disturb the mind, pass. be troubled/shaken. πᾶς all, the whole of, wt art. §190.
4   συν-αγαγών aor2 ptc -άγω assemble, call together. ἀρχ-ιερεύς5 high priest, pl. chief priests, incl. ex-high priests and members of high priestly families, cf Ac 4:6. ἐ-πυνθάνετο impf -θάνομαι inquire; on impf §272. γεννᾶται pass. -άω v.1; Gk preserving the tense of dir. speech §346f., but Eng. was to be born.
5   ὁ δέ (οἱ δέ) in narration, and/but he (they). εἶπαν (for -ον) §489. οὕτως refers to what follows. γέ-γραπται it stands written, pf pass. γράφω.
6 οὐδαμῶς by no means. ἐλάχιστος least, serves as superl. of μικρός small. ἡγεμών6 -μόνος ὁ (< ἡγέομαι lead) governor, leader; in transferred sense, chief city. ἐξ-ελεύσεται fut. -έρχομαι. ἡγούμενος leader, ptc ἡγέομαι lead. ὅσ-τις one who (i.e. such as to) §215, 219. ποιμανεῖ fut. ποιμαίνω lead (as a shepherd).
7 τότε then; favourite word in Mt (90 times) to indicate transition to sth new, prob. due to Aram. influence. λάθρᾳ adv. secretly. καλέσας aor. ptc -έω. μάγος v.1. ἠκρίβωσεν aor. ἀκριβόω inquire carefully, ascertain exactly. χρόνος time. φαινομένου ptc pass. φαίνω show, cause to appear; pass. sts appear, become visible, pres. ptc corresponding in aspect to impf §274f.: the time the star had begun (§290) to be visible. ἀστήρ v.2.

In Logos, are you familiar with the Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament: Expansions and Annotations? This resource presents the details of the Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament word by word, verse by verse. It shows the classifications of each word, details the structures the word is contained in, and lists words that are related with the sorts of relations involved. Terms are all hover-able for glossary explanations. Here's a sample:
