Hey Logos,
How 'bout having someone compose a singular sale email for promotions. I've received 9 emails from you in a matter of minutes this morning. One would have done the trick.
Make that 43 emails...and counting.
I wonder if the issue behind this is users being able to selectively pick areas of interest (in which case each person is different and instead of managing a mail list, it would be a major 'message stacker' per user). Also judging from their inability to stop emails quickly, they seem to put them out fairly early (launch and forget).
Given the issue Brad and others periodically mention, I wonder if simply a common (though lengthy) email might work better. That's what I get from my other Bible guys. I just page down to the areas I care about. Wouldn't be sophisticated but certainly more user friendly.
OK: just saw Brad's second entry. Forget this idea.
Ouch, that would hurt with my ancient Blackberry that requires individual deletions.
104...
Brad,
I'm very sorry about this. This is an error, and we are working on a fix right now.
No big deal. Thanks.
Incidentally DMB, the "other guys" spam my mailbox with multiple emails daily.
104? WoW What sales am I missing?
Want me to forward them all to you? [;)]

I would tell you, Matthew, but the emails asked the recipient to keep it quiet. But, I have to tell you, it was hard to turn down the upgrade to Portfolio from Platinum for $149.

Poor Brad. Now there will be a run on his mailbox asking him to forward. [6]
My upgrade promo was for only $99.

So that's why the emails said to keep it quiet. [:)]
