Bug: Incorrect signal added to Bible passage

I have previously reported a bug/limitation that when duplicating a bible passage and changing the range (in order to retain the formatting across slides) the redundant signal (of the previous passage) is retain resulting in a chain of unnecessary and irrelevant signals.

I have also noticed, however, that, on occasion, the wrong signal is randomly attached to a verse as per the screen shot below,

There is no reason why SoS should be attached to this passage as we have not used this passage elsewhere in the service. Stranger still, there is no way of deleting the signal in question. I have tried redoing the verse (1 Corinthians 9) from scratch, but SoS is still there. Immovable.

This bug has been reported to development for review. They should be committing a fix in a future update.

In the meantime, you should be able to delete the unwanted signals by hovering your mouse over the signal and pressing the small red "x":

Apologies, I may have been unclear in my original post.

I was able to delete other extraneous signals via this method. Proclaim did not give me the option to delete the erroneous SoS signal (i.e. the cross was not displayed on hover-over, and I tried several times).

Also, just to clarify, this is not the same bug I have previously reported. For some reason, the SoS passage appears to be attached to the Corinthians passage, even when adding a new bible passage and then entering the reference from scratch. This is not a 'duplicate slide' issue (as none of the other slides related to SoS).

Aha. That is odd, as I have been unable to reproduce those results. Are you on Mac or PC?

What is the first verse you entered and what is the second verse?

I am having the same problem. I am not able to delete the signal because the 'X' is not visible. I see this on both MAC and PC

Just to add that whenever you create a new Bible slide, it seems to automatically add Song of Solomon 1. Please fix this ASAP because it is messing up all the Bible slides

Also, when trying to add Jeremiah 2:12-13, it creates two signals with the second being Jeremiah 2:12-13:12 which is obviously not even in the correct format. I have determined this happens when trying to display just two verses since I have now seen this every single time I try to add two verses. The most recent to have this issue was Matthew 7:7-8. Proclaim does not recognize putting a comma between the two verses.

There really needs to be a way to turn off signals completely if they are not going to be correct

I had the same problem- it's the words "So I" that create the signal. I didn't get a red x either.

My workaround was to replace the 'o' of "So I" with a numeral 0, then format the zero in small caps. It wasn't noticeable.

For the last two weeks, our announcement slides (uploaded powerpoint file) have had a spurious automatic signal "1 Esdras 9" attached which is obviously erronious and unintended, since the slides do not contain any Bible references (I checked). I was not able to delete this signal like manual signals are deleted. It seems proclaim is misinterpreting something in the file, but in general, there should be a way to delete unwanted signals.

Since it should be the prerogative of the local church leadership and the author of the slides, whether or not to send signals (whether automatic or not), there should be a way to delete unwanted automatic signals.

I therefore request a change in the software to allow deletion of any signal, whether automatically generated or not.
